It’s Dance Mode Time!! We had the best of time playing keepy uppy! Had snack time, had dance mode activated, made face masks, and had soooo much fun!
These girls worked their tails off! They did lots of strength and conditioning! We use lots of equipment when working with body positions for skills! Once you master the basic the rest is just icing on the cake!
We worked on side aerials, front aerials, and even back aerials! When learning to do an aerial the correct mechanics is so important! Once you master the mechanics you will be able to do it forever!! Alexa has so many drills, and will teach that you can do at home with no equipment and limited space! We are experts at spotting aerials as well!
We were in our Sparkle Era at this camp! We had our very own special guest “Tay Tay”! We danced, made friendship bracelets, had a snacks & did our best Tay walks! We had soooo much fun!
This was a fun clinic for the more experienced tumblers! Air skills are front tucks, back tucks, whip backs, layouts, etc. When learning these big Airskills or as we call them in USTA (Saltos) from using drills to perfect the skill, correct conditioning, and using equipment is a MUST! It’s so important to understand body shape for each skill and build confidence in the athlete! Alexa is well educated as a power tumbler from her experience growing up tumbling competitively. Training her staff correctly keeps Energy’s tumbling program safe and efficient and makes a solid tumbling program from toddler classes all the way to our most elite athletes.
We had a royal party! We danced with our royal princesses! We had snacks, did a craft, & had a dance party! It was such a magical time! We cannot wait until next year’s Princess Camp!
